Refreshed with cocktails and a variety of tasty French specialities,
you can then wander through the Cité de
l’Espace to see the exhibitions and life-size spacecraft models in the park
outside, but also to attend a show at the planetarium and enjoy a 3-D film at
the Imax® cinema.

The Park: get ready for lift-off
In a spacious 2 hectare Park, visitors
will be able to amble down Infinity Alley and take in the 3D planet panorama,
the Terradome and life-size spacecraft.
They will also see the 53-metre long, Ariane 5 launcher installed on its launch
pad just as if it were in Kouru.
The Mir Space Station,
a symbol of Russian space exploration: visitors can enter
this test model, and see for themselves how cosmonauts live in Space.
A truly unique experience!
The Soyuz spacecraft:
with the exception of Star
City in
Moscow, where
cosmonauts train, the Cité de l’Espace
is the only museum of its kind in the world which invites visitors to enter a
first generation Soyuz spacecraft.
Visit the Planetarium and travel to the edges of Space
With its
600 m2
hemispherical screen, the planetarium is one of the most advanced astronomy
simulators in the world. Discover the wonders of astronomy as you watch
"The stars of the Pharaohs”:
travel in time and space enfolded by a moving spectacle, allowing you to see the
sky as the Pharaohs did, some 5000 years ago.

A
large format IMAX® Cinema, for an intense Space experience…
The IMAX® cinema has a giant, 21
m wide, 16
m high screen and a 3-D projection system, which immerses
spectators completely in the images of the first IMAX® film shot in Space: "Space Station 3-D". Spectators participate as if they were involved in building
a Space laboratory in orbit around the Earth, at an altitude of
400 km.

The exhibition Pavilion
Covering more than 2,500 square metres, it harbours the secrets of
celestial dynamics, terrestrial phenomena and the mysteries of the universe.
Set off on a passionate trip, surrounded by
satellites, the galactic labyrinth, the weather forecasting Station, taking in
innumerable interactive experiments and entertaining displays, offering many
opportunities to discover new facts, carry out experiments, learn and dream.
Spectacular images, emotions, sensations, dreams await you!
Registration fees for the
‘Standard’ conference, as well as registration fees for an
accompanying person include the gala evening.
Participants who have chosen another case, may
purchase a ticket for the evening event as well.
